1st Step: Required DownloadsĭVDs: Spectrasonics.Omnisphere.2.DVDR.D1.PROPER-R2R and D2 to D8 DYNAMiCS version. NOTE: I already had Omnisphere 1.5.4 installed, and had no problem during the installation, it actually overwrites the files in STEAM, but if you want to make sure, run the program as admin. Guys, there's nothing hard in installing Omnisphere, it's a 100% portable standalone DLL app ! i don't know why Dynamics and R2R made such a mess.ġ - C:/ProgramData/Spectrasonics <- this only contains the KEY file (audio**.dat, which you dont even need as it's created when you register Omni from your Daw) and a the 32 & 64 bit plugins, these DLLs won't be used anyway as your daw will pick up the DLLs in your VST path !Ģ - the STEAM folder, which you can put anywhere, just create a Shortcut in C:/ProgramData/Spectrasonics called "STEAM".ģ - no data in the Registry apart for the STEAM Path, if you get troubles with this delete the key in the registry or edit the key with the correct path.Ĥ - patching : you must patch a total of 4 DLLs : in your VST 32 path, VST 64 path, and the two DLLs in C:/ProgramData/Spectrasonics, but your Daw will only use the one in your VST path.ĥ - registering : use R2R keygen, dont bother if your Daw crashes, it's normal, restart the Daw and you're done.Ħ - Trillian : you should better install it FIRST otherwise it will cause some troubles missing presets when called from omnisphere, standalone it works fineħ - Moog : it's just an addon library and yuo can install when you wantĨ - patches : the library patches must be installed in the correct order or they could fuck up some ZMAP and INDEX files, in some cases you can delete them and Omni will recreate them when make a Refresh but this doesnt always work, with Trillian for instance lots of troubles, with Keyscape OK.ĩ - torrents : i noticed there's a russian torrent about 160Gb large, it's not full there's a dozen missing DB files in Keyscape and probably also in Omni so be warned, use the Dynamics release with the R2R keygen. So, I'm still seeing people getting errors, and as I installed it without any problem showing up during and after the install, here's an in-depth tutorial. If something is missing or unclear, please, let me know and I will correct/add it. If you follow these steps, you should get a perfectly running Omnisphere 2. ![]() If it doesn't want to work even after many tries, try another DAW. I had to do it like 4 times until it worked, so just persist. NOTE: Most of the time, when you paste the "Response Code" into Omnisphere 2, the DAW crashes. Go back to the opened Omnisphere 2 instance and hit the "Paste" button near the "Response Code" text. Hit the "Generate" button after this and copy the code it generates in the lower, big text box. Paste the code into R2R tool's smaller text box, located under the three buttons. Hit the button "Copy" near the "Challenge Code" text. When done, open a DAW (I used FL Studio) in Admin mode, load an instance of Omnisphere 2, it will give you a "Challenge Code". To do so, select the "Omnisphere.dll" file in both places. Patch both the 32 bit and the 64 bit version. ![]() You will now see an interface with 2 text boxes and 3 buttons, which are "Patch", "Generate" and "Exit".Ĭlick on "Patch" and point the program to the place you have installed the VST files to. 5th Step: Using R2R's toolĪssuming you already downloaded "2.0.-R2R", extract it where you want.ĭouble-click on "Spectrasonics_2048_KeyGen" Go inside "Windows" folder and double-clik on the installer file. If you have both, then obviously open up both in numerical order. In case you have Trilian or Bob Moog Tribute Library installed, open "Step 3 - For Trilian Users" if you have Trilian, "Step 4 - For Moog Tribute Users" if you have Bob Moog Tribute Library. ![]() Open "Step 2 - Data Updater" folder, then open "Windows" folder, and double-click on "Omnisphere 2 Data Updater". Mount the D1 ISO release from R2R, when the content from that DVD has been installed, it will ask you for Omnisphere B, mount the D2 ISO release from DYNAMiCS and so on. In order to do so, use an ISO mounting program (I have Daemon Tools) Open the folder named "Step 1 - Installer", then inside that, open the "Windows" folder and double-click on "Omnisphere 2 Installer" So, I'm still seeing people getting errors, and as I installed it without any problem showing up during and after the install, here's an in-depth tutorial.
